- 1. This vote (the "Vote") is promoted by the ‘Inspiration Awards’ for women, Skylet Andrew Limited whose contact address is 78 York Street, London W1W 5QA (the "Promoter") and who operates the ‘Inspiration Awards’ for women website "www.inspirationawards.co.uk" (the "Website").
- 2. You may cast your vote via the Website by registering and following the instructions to vote. NO PURCHASE OF ANY SORT IS NECESSARY and there is no charge to enter the Website. There are no alternative online voting methods for the public.
- Please note that the public vote will contribute to the overall outcome in the following manner:
- The nominee that receives the most votes online in each category will get ‘2’ votes at the judges meeting in September. There are six judges who have compiled the nomination list.
- Each judge can only vote for a nominee they did not nominate at the first meeting.
- There will be a total of 7 votes available to each nominee.
- 3. You may only vote once in each category.
- 4. Vote Period. The Vote will open and be promoted on the Website from Friday 18th August 2009 until the vote closes at 5pm on 25th September 2009 ("the Vote Period"). The Vote Period. Any votes received outside of the Vote Period (for whatever reason) will be invalid.
- 5. The Vote Procedure:
- Nominations: The nominations were decided by 6 elected judges on the 14th July 2009 at a central London location. The judges were then given until the 3rd August to consider their nominations. On 10th August 2009 all nominations are finalised.
- Online Voting: 18th August 2009; The nominees are officially announced on www.inspirationawards.co.uk (“the website”) and the public can vote until 5pm on the 25th September 2009.
- Winners Meeting: 25th September 2009; The judges meet at a central London location to vote for their preferred winners. The judges are not allowed to vote for their own original nominee. The total votes from the judges will be added to the ‘2’ votes gained by each category winner from the online vote. This will be done by an independent adjudicator. In the event of a tie, the winner of the online vote will be given preference.
- 6. The Winners Announcement: The winners will be announced at the ‘Inspiration Awards’ for women on October 1st 2009 at the Cadogan Hall, 5 Sloane Terrace, Chelsea, London SW1 9DQ. (the ‘Inspiration Awards’ for women).
- The Awards: There will be a total of 9 awards presented to the winners of which 8 is available to this online vote. The 9th award will be a vote process conducted by the ‘Breakthrough Breast Cancer’ charity.

- 7. Restrictions on Entry. The eligibility of any voter for this online vote is at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Employees and their families or the agents of the Promoter or any of its associated companies are not eligible to enter the Vote. Any entry will be void if the ‘Promoter’ of this online vote deems it incomplete, illegible or has been made by an ineligible person. The The ‘Promoter’ reserves the right to discount votes if it has reasonable grounds to believe that votes have been cast in a fraudulent, misrepresentative or illegal manner (including bulk voting).
- 8. Awards Criteria: The criteria of the awards can be found on the promoter’s awards website.
- 9. State of Votes The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of, or unauthorised access to votes, or votes lost, incomplete or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control. All lost, damaged or incomplete votes will be deemed invalid. Proof of vote shall not be proof of delivery or receipt. Only votes received in accordance with these terms and conditions will be acceptable.
- 10. Terms and Conditions By entering the Vote, all voters are deemed to accept these terms and conditions. The ‘Promoter’ may, at its sole discretion, change the dates of the Vote Period, or any other of these terms and conditions. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be posted on the relevant part of the Promoter's website and it is the responsibility of voters to check for any such changes. The Promoter may at any time suspend, withdraw or re-set voting at its sole discretion.
- 11. Data Protection and Privacy The ‘Promoter’ or its associated companies will keep details of all entrants to the Vote on a database. By entering the Vote entrants allow the Promoter and its associated companies to use this information and to pass this information to other relevant third parties (such as prize fulfilment houses) to enable the processing of this Vote and, where the entrant has given the requisite consent, to send information about the promoter’s products and services and/or to share this information with other companies, in order that the entrant may be sent details of those companies' goods and services by email, post and SMS. Any personal data relating to voters will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and voters acknowledge that they have read and agreed to the Promoter's Privacy Policy.
- 12. Rights in Vote. On submitting a vote, each voter irrevocably and exclusively grants and assigns to the Promoter with full title guarantee the entire copyright and all other rights of whatever nature in his/her entry for the full duration of such rights throughout the world.
- 13. Exclusion of Liability. Other than for death or personal injury arising from negligence of the Promoter, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter hereby excludes all liability for any loss, damage, cost and expense, whether direct or indirect, howsoever caused to or suffered by any person in connection with the Vote.
- 14. Governing Law. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed and performed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall be the courts of exclusive jurisdiction.
