Stella graduated from Central St Martins in 1995. In 2001 Stella launched her own fashion house under her name in a joint venture with Gucci Group. She had previously worked for Chloe Paris. Her collections are distributed in over 50 countries. Stella has designed for GAP, sportswear brand Adidas and H&M. This year Stella was appointed creative director of team GB’s outfits for the London 2012 Games.

Stella is a lifelong vegetarian and does not use any leather or fur in her designs.
