Sara has campaigned tirelessly for ten years since the murder of her daughter Sarah by a convicted pedophile. Sara’s called for better child protection laws and the introduction of ‘Sarah’s Law’ which would allow parents to know if a convicted pedophile was living in their community. A pilot scheme based on ‘Sarah’s Law’ has been extended to eight more police forces in England and could be rolled out nationally next year.

Sara suffered a second brain aneurysm last Christmas which has left her paralysed on the left side of her body.
