Olivia has been a tireless campaigner for breast cancer awareness since her diagnosis with the disease in July 1992. Since then she has used her experience in the media to highlight the importance of breast awareness and early detection and has acted as an inspiration to women with breast cancer worldwide.

She has also raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for The Olivia Newton-John Cancer Centre, an Australian based centre providing support for cancer sufferers. Most recently she walked The Great Wall of China with numerous international celebrity supporters to raise vital funds for the centre.

She received an OBE in 1979 and an Order of Australia in 2006 for her services to music. She is also Grammy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee whose highly successful film and music career has spanned 40 years.
