Margaret Mountford is a lawyer and television personality known for her role in ‘The Apprentice’

Margaret read law at Cambridge University and became a solicitor rising to partner at Herbert Smith. She worked on various legal transactions for Sir Alan Sugar’s company Amstrad.

In June Margaret announced she was leaving ‘The Apprentice’ after 5 years as Sir Alan’s ‘eyes and ears’. She will work on a PhD in Papyrology, studying documents found in Egypt and written in ancient Greek.
