Who can have shown more determination and desire to achieve success than the winner of the Wimbledon Girls' Singles final 2008 - Laura Robson at just 14 is on the brink of a sparkling tennis career and to top it all she is British! She has exceptional talent and her position as British sport's newest and youngest hope brings much expectation.

She remains a typical teenager with a liking for pizza but her mother who educated her at home so that she could concentrate on  her game is keen to remind her daughter she is still be required to make her bed and unload the dishwasher saying , "It's a lonely place out there, and she has to cope with that". Few teens strive with such intensity to achieve a goal but Laura is an example to us all.
