Kate Winslet’s hard work and studying paid off when in1995 she starred in ‘Sense and Sensibility’ in which she won a British Academy Award and gained her first Oscar nomination for ‘Best Supporting Actress’ at 20 years old.

Winslet has gone on to receive a further six Academy Award nominations, the youngest actress to do so.

Earlier this year Kate won the Oscar for ‘Best Actress’ for her portrayal of a former Nazi concentration camp guard, in ‘The Reader’.
