Emma Parry set up ‘Help for Heroes’ with her husband Bryn, after they took part in a charity bike ride in 2007.

The charity allocates funds for practical and direct support for our wounded soldiers. In just two years ‘Help for Heroes’ has raised more than £27million and has become one of the most successful British charities of recent years.

Emma is now even closer to the conflict, as her son Tom, a 24-year-old Lieutenant in the Rifles, has recently flown out Afghanistan.
