Bereaved mother Deborah Kinsella has shown determination and drive to fight against knife crime after her son Ben was stabbed to death last year.

Her high profile campaigning, alongside that of Ben’s family and friends, has directly led to a review of the 15-year minimum prison sentence for knife murders. Whilst mourning his death the family has worked to urge all teenagers to put down knives and weapons.

Deborah, along with her husband has set up a foundation in Ben's name to provide youth facilities in north London.
