Carol has been successfully fundraising for the past 17 years, joining Breakthrough nine years ago as Chairman of the London Central Group. £800,000 has been raised under Carol’s expert leadership. She is motivating the team to reach £1,000,000 by 2010.

Annually, the group organise two major lunches in London attracting 500 guests, a sponsored walk in Windsor Great Park and many more events which are a huge success. She is determined, focused, passionate and an excellent negotiator. Carol is a great ambassador for Breakthrough and the key to her success is the way that she inspires and relates to people even when faced with personal tragedy and adversity.

Carol also encourages others to fundraise and has amassed a huge database of people, including celebrities, that she can call on to donate funds, support and sponsor events.
